Treillen; Montinus lonea

Description;

Treillen are large, bulky Verpets who are found in the mountains. They are nearly blind, but have excellent hearing to compensate. Their long tails serve to keep the Treillen warm as it slumbers high up in the mountains. All wild Treillens sport a small pair of horns which they use for defense and battling for mates in males of the species.

Behaviour;

Treillens are calm Verpets if kept in a safe and stable environment, however due to their poor eyesight and sometimes overly-acute hearing they are very easy to spook and likely to panic. They are loving and trusting of their owners, but are not a pet for an active owner. Treillens are not a very active species and are haughty and stubborn, especially when they are around other Verpets.

Habitat;

Treillen inhabit the highest peaks of the mountains where there are few other species of Verpet who are able to tolerate the harsh and frigid conditions. They venture lower in the mountains only to forage for food.
